A new year... a brand new set of Insight forums!

With the New Year fast approaching, the IMA team are busy working behind the scenes to develop content for a brand new set of topics for 2026. Most of our Insight forum ideas originate from member feedback, so we hope that you'll be excited by what's to come.

So, with that in mind, we'd like to give you a taste of what's on the menu for Term 1 -

January forum: Leading our Insight teams in 2026

A new year brings new opportunities in Insight, but are you ready to be a transformational Insight leader in 2026? In our first forum of the year, we'll guide Insight leaders to think about the essential areas of focus for their leadership roles in 2026, and outline suggested frameworks and tools with which the IMA can support.

February forum: Developing Insight skills and capabilities

As the business world evolves, most organisations continue to see the value in Insight. But with the rapid growth of AI, the extent to which some traditional Insight capabilities are needed is likely to lesson. So how can we ensure our team members don't get left behind? In this forum we'll discuss the current capability landscape and encourage leaders to think about their own team's priorities in relation to capabilities, mindset and behaviours for the future.

March forums: Increasing our personal impact

We know that 'doing insight' isn't enough in our roles as Insight professionals and leaders, and to really drive business change and commercial uplift we need to ensure that our insight drives impact. But how do we go about doing this most effectively? In this forum we'll offer tips for increasing our personal impact and developing a personal brand, and discuss how to improve the confidence and assertiveness amongst our team members to help them do the same.

If you'd like to register for any of these Insight forum sessions, please visit our Insight forum registration page, and to see the full schedule of topics for 2026, click here

As usual, these forums are for senior Insight leaders representing IMA members, but we will also offer some free places if your organisation isn’t yet a member and you're interested in joining (sorry, no suppliers!)

In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you all in January 2026!
