Springing into a new set of forums

With the Spring Term fast approaching, the IMA team are busy working behind the scenes to develop content for a brand new set of forum topics. Many of our Insight forum topics originate from member conversations, so we hope that you'll be excited by what's to come.

So, here's a taste of what's on the menu for Term 2 -

April forum: Adopting a growth consultancy mindset

The world is evolving at pace, but despite a huge desire from CEOs to run sustainably successful companies, according to McKinsey's only 15% always use consumer, customer and commercial data when making major decisions. In this forum we discuss the role that Insight leaders and professionals can play in supporting their organisation’s growth ambitions, and suggest 3 key characteristics required to develop and adopt a growth consultancy mindset.

June forum: Enhancing our role as knowledge stewards

The IMA has always believed that successful Insight teams should focus on accumulated knowledge rather than just the next research or analysis project. But in an AI-shaped world, the information landscape will expand exponentially, so it'll be even more important for Insight professionals to enhance our roles and become knowledge stewards for our organisations.

July forums: AI in Insight 2026

As AI continues to accelerate and change the way we work, we’ll be investigating what this means for Insight. We’ll research and share how Insight leaders are currently feeling about AI and the impact it's having on their work and teams, and give you the oppportunity to hear first-hand how different Insight teams are implementing AI in their organisations, including tips on where to focus next if you need inspiration or direction.

If you'd like to register for any of these Insight forum sessions, please visit our Insight forum registration page, and to see the full schedule of topics for 2026, click here

As usual, these forums are for senior Insight leaders representing IMA members, but we will also offer some free places if your organisation isn’t yet a member and you're interested in joining (sorry, no suppliers!)

In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you all next term!
