TIP520 Introduction to Insight strategy
A 2-hour online session to help equip leaders and leadership groups to develop an effective Insight strategy for their organisation
When?
Available on request, subject to availability from Sept '24
Why?
If Insight is to be developed as a strategic asset and source of competitive advantage, we need to develop a top-down plan outlining a vision for the role which the department will play, the strategic options available to us, and a practical roadmap of how we will execute our strategy over the next 1-3 years.
What?
This 2-hour discussion will provide Insight leaders and leadership groups with an overview of the Insight strategy development process:
- The purpose of an Insight strategy
- Understanding the opportunity for Insight to make a bigger difference to your organisation’s performance
- The Insight leader's ambition for Insight and the implications for its vision and mission
- The strategic options relating to the Insight team's scope, scale and activities, and choices to make regarding resources
- The importance of the execution phase
Finally, we discuss how you are going to go about developing the strategy and the people and timescales involved. We can also signpost the further support we can provide.
Next steps
After the session we will provide you with reference material to help you as you develop your strategy, including a summary of the main steps involved and checklists of the key questions to consider.
We can also provide further guidance, aranged by the hour, at each stage of your Insight strategy development process. But please note that we would always recommend that it's the Insight leader wihtin the organisation that takes the lead.
